Belville
I don't think I could ever get enough high heeled boots, and these would be a perfect addition to my collection. Acne Belville boots from Browns, with gorgeous architectural heels. I love my Atacoma wedges, and I'm certain I'd love these as well, but unfortunately there is no room for these in my budget at the moment.

Fabulous Feathers
Finally some good pictures of interesting footwear! Today we were served feathered goodness from Nicholas Kirkwood for Roksanda Ilincic. I liked the clothes that were shown, but the shoes were the absolute highlight. Are they any kind of practical? Not likely. But that's often not an issue when it comes to Kirkwood shoes. Bon appetite!

Superhero
No fashion week report from me today. Instead, rest your eyes on these great shots of Caroline Trentini, featured in a 2008 issue of The New York Times, shot by Raymond Meier.

NYFW Favourites: Short, Shorter, Shortest
Here's the last of my New York Fashion Week posts for now. I was planning on doing a "ten favourite shoes" post as well, but I've noticed a severe lack of detail pictures, and haven't even been able to find good shots of ten shoes I love.
Today I've focused on short dresses. Sure, we are following the spring collections, but any one of these would be a great hit during the so-called party season around Christmas. My number one favourite is the Doo.Ri number. The shades of blue are wonderfully vibrant, and the dress looks like it can flatter almost any shape.

NYFW Favourites: See Through
Here's a few more highlights from what's been shown so far. Last season, designers started getting very interested in sheer fabrics and transparency, and this trend has continued on the SS10 runways in New York. I'm particularily fond of the technique/fabrics used at Carlos Miele and Doo.Ri.

NYFW Favourites: All White
New York Fashion Week is done, and it's time to summarize and have a look at the greater picture. While NYFW normally doesn't excite me too much, there were quite a few designers I appreciated this season. I've saved quite a few of my favourite looks and will be posting them the next few days, while I start watching the runways of London.
I've never worn many white pieces, and never an all white outfit, but looking at the collections shown the last week, white should become a big trend come spring. When done right, it looks both eteral and sharp. Below, I've picked out ten of my favourite white looks from NYFW. In alphabetical order:
