Handsome!
I'm certain everybody and their cats know about the awesome swimsuit/bodysuit company We Are Handsome by now, but I'm posting some of their designs anyway. I really wish I could bring one of these bikinis with me when I leave for Barcelona in less than two weeks. Triangle bikini tops are the best ones for my body shape, and these prints are just perfect. I particularily love the print called The Bahamas, featuring flamingoes.

Little Yellow Bikini
I'm taking the easy way out with blogging today. My head hurts like crazy, and I desperately need some sleep, so I'll be lazy and post a few shots from one of my favourite recent editorials - I've even posted about it before.
Ali Stephens is still looking gorgeous on the beach, and I'm still searching for that perfect bikini to wear on my trip to Crete in less than a month.

Back View
Swimsuit, $ 295 from Cala Ossidiana
Etsy is a place I normally stay away from, due to the sheer volume of disappointing "creations" being sold by people who have too much faith in their own talent. That being said, I came across this gorgeous swimsuit earlier, and when I discovered where it was being sold, I started digging through the vaults of Etsy swimwear. Big mistake. Three words that never belong together? Homemade, crochet and bikini. At least that's the impression I was left with, before quickly exiting the site.

Is this the perfect piece of swimwear? I'm inclined to say yes, but I fear I'm a bit too short to pull it of, because of the rather high cut at the legs... Hard to say why I'm lusting after swimwear, as I only got to go swimming once or twice last summer, but this piece could easily be worn to a summer party as well.
Zimmermann Halter neck swimsuit, £299 at net-a-porter.com. Major want!

Bandage Me
I'm curious how my mind really works. It's still the same old winter weather outside, and the first pictures from fall/winter 09 have started circulating the net, but what have I been thinking of all day?
Swimwear.

And not just any kind of swimwear; I've been lusting over one-piece swimsuits.
It's been years since I last wore a one-piece, and they weren't stylish at all. Last year, new kinds of one-pieces started popping up in stores, looking better than I'd imagined, and I started considering getting one.
This summer, they're looking even more promising. The first picture in this post is a sample of this seasons swimsuits from Norma Kamali, found via the BleachBlack blog. Gorgeous, non?

The pieces above and below are from Hervé Léger by Max Azria, Spring/Summer 09.
While I enjoy looking at the vibrant red and gorgeous silver above, I think I'd much prefer a black piece. A cut-out or bondage bathing suit is guaranteed to be impractical if one starts to think about tan lines, so I prefer to ignore that whole approach. Ugh, want!

Think about it this way; add a slouchy pair of shorts or harem pants, a Balmain inspired jacket and some Gucci heels, and you've got the best beach party look possible. Agreed?
