Found my new maxi dress! In fact, I found two! I couldn't decide between a dark or a pale one, and since these were not too expensive, I got both.
Below is some more maxi inspiration. I figured if the Olsen twins, who are both around 5 feet tall, can wear long skirts and dresses without looking like midgets, then I've got nothing to be afraid of.

my thoughts exactly - I'm 5'3" and my blog is lousy with my professed love for maxis. People can be so snippy about "the rules", I've even had comments saying I look ridiculous in such lengths, but the Olsens where such lengths on a regular basis and are lauded for their style. Gah.
