Beach Body
More from Numeró 103; Edita Vilkeviciute shot by Camilla Åkrans. All kinds of gorgeous, and I find I'm starting to appreciate nude and pale clothes. No amounts of moisturizer, hours in the gym or Photoshop could ever give me skin and legs that look this good, though.

Back View
Swimsuit, $ 295 from Cala Ossidiana
Etsy is a place I normally stay away from, due to the sheer volume of disappointing "creations" being sold by people who have too much faith in their own talent. That being said, I came across this gorgeous swimsuit earlier, and when I discovered where it was being sold, I started digging through the vaults of Etsy swimwear. Big mistake. Three words that never belong together? Homemade, crochet and bikini. At least that's the impression I was left with, before quickly exiting the site.

Quick Picture Post
Shoes and studs, two recurring themes at this blog. Don't know if I'll ever finish the vest below, but I've used the bag a few times already, and love it. Much credit to Park & Cube for the idea!

L'hirondelle
Good morning, internet! Went to a great party last night where the hostess insisted on serving all her guests far too many different drinks, which of course resulted in a throbbing head this morning. It was well worth it, though, I just need to locate some pain killers.
The pictures are from Numero 103; gorgeous, moody Anja Rubik shot by Josh Olins, and they perfectly illustrate how I feel right now.

Shopping List Summer 09
So, somebody received a big package with summer shoes yesterday, and I can't wait to start wearing the new heels. I'll be posting pictures of that purchase later this weekend; right now I'm mentally planning my summer shopping and playing around with polyvore.
Things I've convinced myself I "need" for sommer include smashing swimwear, easy-to-wear but dangerous looking wedges, floral summer dress (I'm thinking something similar in feel and colours to the current Gucci campaign), statement jacket, denim shorts, girly shorts.
While I've no intention of buying all this at net-a-porter or brownsfashion, a girl can dream, right? And I fully intend to splurge on a pair of Marnis or that Zimmermann swimsuit when I'm able to make up my mind about which is the better buy.
What are you trying to hunt down for summer?

Is this the perfect piece of swimwear? I'm inclined to say yes, but I fear I'm a bit too short to pull it of, because of the rather high cut at the legs... Hard to say why I'm lusting after swimwear, as I only got to go swimming once or twice last summer, but this piece could easily be worn to a summer party as well.

Everything is Illuminated
Mmm, colours! Love the styling of this editorial, with all its metal, shine and futurism.
Dewi Dreigen looks particularily stunning in this bright gold Prada dress. I can't say I've appreciated that collection much yet, but this is one instance where it really works.

Want of the Week
I'm lusting after big, expressive and different jewelry at the moment; something that could easily make an outfit. And I'm still stuck in a monochrome world, though I can feel the florals of spring calling out to me.
Any of these rope necklaces from Yazbukey would satisfy my cravings, and I'm secretly wondering if it would be possible to create something similar to any of these on my own...

Sun is Shining
Mmm, summery pictures. Today is shaping up to become the warmest day so far this year, and I'm dusting off the barbeque, marinating meat and scampi and on my way to get some nice beer.
Now, 'warmest day of the year so far' doesn't really mean summer quite yet, and I expect we won't see more than 10-12 degrees celcius at the most, but it's a huge improvement from the snow we had just a few weeks ago.

In other news, I actually got around to getting my computer to service yesterday, so some day in the hopefully not-so-distant future I might have it back and get to post something other than editorials and runway photos.
Have a lovely weekend everybody!

Covers
I love when magazines actually put models on front of their covers for once. Here's the much anticipated multi-girl cover of US Vogue May 2009. Gorgeous girls, especially two of my personal favourite models; Natasha Poly and Raquel Zimmermann.
But every now and then there's a so-called celebrity cover I love. This is one of several different covers of this months French Elle, all featuring gorgeous, non-photoshopped women sans make-up. Fantastique!

Chained Feet
Alessandro dell'Acqua Fall/Winter 09/10
Easter is gone, I'm back to work and back to blogging. At the moment I'm feeling rather uninspired, and I've been lucky enough to come down with a fever, but I thought I'd take the time to post these interesting shoes I found lingering in the back of my Photobucket account. Enjoy!

Bright Easter
Easter reminds me of bright yellow flowers, eggs and feathers. Here's a quick collage of yellow items I wouldn't mind wearing, featuring items I found via Polyvore. I actually own the perfume, and it really smells just like the colour yellow!
I'll be off shopping and relaxing the next few days, so this will probably be the last blog post in a little while. I wish you all a wonderful Easter with plenty of good food and weather!

Editorial: Outer Limits
I recently came across this wonderful editorial by Steven Meisel for the Vogue Italia August 2000 issue. While the clothes look all kinds of wrong (did people really wear this stuff just nine years ago?), I love the concept. Passed out models strewn across abandoned city streets? Weird enough for me!

Black or White?
Antonio Berardi / Akris
This time, I'm inclined to go with white. Both pairs of shoes are to die for, but the structure of the Berardi heels are simply amazing.
Agree?
